Welcome to the web site of The Vine at Hambledon in Hampshire, England. The Vine is one of Hampshire’s finest village pubs, nestling beneath Windmill Down in Hambledon.
You can be assured of a warm welcome from the two of us, Tom & Vicki Faulkner, as well as all of our fantastic staff. We moved to The Vine in October 2005 with a passion to create a great dining experience within a vibrant and fun pub environment. Here you’ll find our menus and wines, and directions on how to find us, but you can’t experience The Vine without paying us a visit.
We’re very pleased that The Vine won the “Food Pub of the Year” in Marston’s Pub Company’s Sixth Annual Awards; and that our head chef Simon Brooks was second in the “Chef of the Year” category. The competition was fought between around 2500 pubs!
Starting 7th January, we’ve introduced a special menu, at £9.95 for 2 courses, we’re sure you’ll appreciate excellent food at an unbeatable price.

Our bar opening hours are Monday to Saturday, 11:30 - 15:00, and 18:00 - 23:00 and Sunday, 12:00 to 16:00 and 19:00 - 22:30. Food is available Monday to Saturday, 12:00 - 14:00, and 19:00 - 21:00, and Sunday, 12:00 to 14:00.
